| Norient Handy Bulker Pool |
| The Norient Handy Bulker Pool commenced operations in the autumn of 2009 with approximately 20 Handysize vessels. During the course of 2011, capacity grew to 50 vessels as both NORDEN and INTERORIENT added significant New Buildings to the Pool to realise critical mass in the Handysize segment. All vessels under operation are in the modern 28,000-37,000 dwt size range. The company’s Handysize bulk carriers have been specifically designed to carry a wide range of cargoes including IMDG goods and timber. Their shallow draft and cargo gear provides them with the flexibility to call a vast number of ports, enabling these versatile vessels to operate geographically dispersed global trades. |
